Rebranding My Blog

Hello, everyone! I hope your days are going well.

I have some big news, and that is I am rebranding my blog. I am turning this space into as close of an author website as I can. With tight funds, I can't afford to build a nice website right now, even though there are a lot of good deals out there for that, it's not in my best interest financially right now. I'm trying to save up for a car (I had to sell my truck) and I'm working on saving up for the editing of book two.

I know a lot of people may thing blogger isn't the most professional spot. And you know what? That is absolutely correct. However, I am going to make this as professional and helpful a website as I can.

In order to get this rebranding going, I am going to be working a lot behind the scenes on things, drafting up some posts, and relaunching in October!

All that said... I need help. I would like to do a little mini-blog tour announcing the relaunch of my blog.

I'd like if people could post on their blogs, their social media, just spread the word a little the week before the relaunch. If you are interested, I'm going to attach a sign up form to this post.

So excited to see where we can take this blog!

needless to say I listened to a lot of Starset.

I have a new process for my writing, which I plan to share later this month. It's working really well for me and it helps me stay focused and not feel so pulled in different directions with writing projects. But what I will say is, I want to start collecting my word counts at the end of every month, see what the word count is on each projects.

I also wrote some poetry and flash fiction this month. (You can find the flash fiction on my Instagram, *wink wink*)

I journaled a lot too. Here are some out of context excerpts. (Some are a bit melodramatic. I have a tendency to try and be poetic when journaling.)

that's my constant battle. The desire to be different, to be real, yet be everything people want me to be.

I want normal, but what was normal to begin with?
